Nursing Home Cherishes Loveland Community

Florentine Gardens residents started the Holiday season with the theme "Season for Giving." First, the residents packed care packages to be shipped to active-duty soldiers.

Then, our Veterans made and placed wreaths to place on Veteran graves at the local cemetery. For Thanksgiving, the residents at Florentine helped prepare, transport, and serve a three-course meal at the homeless shelter.

For Christmas, residents helped in a toy drive to donate to the local adoption/foster agency, Focus on youth. We also did a hat, scarf, glove, sock donation for the local Ministry. Our challenge to other facilities, what are you doing that screams, "We love our community?"
