Florentine Gardens Heroes: Debbie, Jackie, Sandy, Andrew, & Doris
April 3, 2020Loveland, Ohio - Please meet our hero Debbie Hamblin. Debbie has worked at Florentine Gardens for two years as a housekeeper. When Debbie isn't working hard on keeping the facility clean and safe for the residents, she is scrapbooks for her grandkids. During this quarantine, Debbie is working on fixing up her new house. Debbie is a resident favorite in the facility and always comes to work with a positive attitude. Thank you, Debbie, for always making the residents feel loved and special.

Please meet our hero Jackie Tanner. Jackie is one of our newest night shift LPNs. When Jackie isn't working hard on the floor taking care of our residents, she is playing acoustic guitar and playing paintball. During this quarantine, Jackie is catching up on sleep, deep cleaning her house, and learning to make reusable fabric facemasks. Jackie has become a great addition to the night shift and makes a true difference in our team. Thank you, Jackie, for your skills and creating a caring environment for residents and staff.

Please meet our hero Sandy Sarver. Sandy has worked at Florentine Gardens for two years and with the company for twenty years. When Sandy isn't running the dietary department, she enjoys fishing, camping, and spending a lot of time with her grandchildren. During this quarantine, Sandy has been keeping staff and residents the happiest they can be. Sandy has gone above and beyond, providing meals, snacks, and drinks for the staff and residents. Sandy has shown true kindness and heart during this difficult time. Thank you, Sandy, for always treating the staff and residents with love and respect. You are extremely valued and appreciated.

Please meet our hero Andrew Thompson. Andrew has worked as a dietary aide at Florentine Gardens for nine months. When he isn't assisting our kitchen in feeding residents, Andrew is shooting hoops and fishing. During this quarantine, he is leveling up on all his video games. Andrew is picking up many shifts to help us through these trying times. Thank you, Andrew, for embracing our culture of care and treating our residents like your own grandparents.

Please meet our hero Doris Johnson. Doris has worked at Florentine Gardens for three years. When Doris isn't entertaining the residents with creative activities, she is making jewelry and cooking. During this quarantine, Doris is reading a lot of books and Skyping with her family in Germany that is also in quarantine. Doris has been a huge help during this pandemic with assisting our screening system and making sure everyone is healthy and safe become they work with the residents. Thank you, Doris, for always being a team player and bringing smiles to the residents' faces every day.
