Meet Florentine Gardens' New Administrator

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our Florentine Gardens family—Administrator Laura Ritterbach!



Laura brings a deep well of experience and compassion to our community. A licensed nursing home administrator since 2016 and a licensed social worker since 2005, Laura began her career in foster care, working in case management and home licensing. After five years, she transitioned into hospice care and eventually found her true calling in long-term care. Her journey has taken her across the greater Cincinnati area, and with each stop, her love for residents and dedication to quality care has only grown.

Laura is celebrating 20 years of marriage this September with her husband, whom she met while attending Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio (even though she grew up in Michigan—Go Blue!). Together, they’re raising four energetic children: Shelby (14), Sunday (12), Scarlett (8), and Wyatt (7). Their home is also full of love for their three cats—Luna, Tanner, and Tatum—and a lively 100-gallon freshwater fish tank!

When she’s not at work or chauffeuring her kids to sports, school, and church events, Laura enjoys cozy nights watching Netflix with her husband, reading, traveling, sitting around a campfire, wine tasting, and cheering on her favorite football and hockey teams.

Laura lives by the motto: “Life is an adventure, it is what you make it.” We’re so excited to start this new adventure with her and can’t wait for you all to get to know her!
